Fire,
sparkles and dust.
Mad steps made by
twisty shades 'round the greatest
Pyre,
dancing around,
pain is now burnt,
They're moving while heating the
Sand,
that kisses all feet
which try to prove
the sense of all with unconscious
Moves,
catching all fools
that were born to loose
and now the sound makes them part of a
Group,
in a time that is right
with no burden behind.
Sweat is a clue but nothing
Counts,
souls and hands
together are one,
the amount of all ends up in the
Fire,
now, there's nothing but dust
and a vanishing smoke,
letting show a mark of footsteps getting
old.
Erasing all hope,
letting them know
that today starts life, today starts life
bliss now dies.
Shoegaze, post-rock, black metal, dark ambient: if it's gloomy and surreal, you'll find it on the Arizona outfit's excellent second LP. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 14, 2022
The Arizona band do right by post-hardcore on their immersive new LP, leavening untempered breakdowns with carefully-measured catharsis. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 20, 2018
Don't believe the name of their latest album; jangle-pop hooks and stacked grunge guitars are two of the Bay Area band's greatest gifts. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 16, 2023
In songs that swing from giant and anthemic to distortion-caked and widescreen, Lightning Cult conjure galaxies of sound. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 18, 2022
